Meg Freitag was born in Maine and has a degree in liberal arts from Sarah Lawrence College. She is currently pursuing her MFA in poetry at UT’s Michener Center for Writers. She lives in East Austin with two parakeets, Jonathan and Anne, and a mischievous little black dog named Ramona.
